We treat information in an objective way, processing many official information sources to obtain a realistic view of the companies. We do not accept modifications of the company data unless they are requested with official documents, so that we maintain a high level of data integrity. Dato Capital is owned by DATO CAPITAL LTD, a UK-incorporated company within the NETAMO SYSTEMS SL group, privately held.

Independence

Unlike most of our competitors, Dato Capital is not controlled by any government, bank, savings bank, credit insurer or venture-capital firm. No outside interest sits between our clients and the facts — which is precisely why we can guarantee the integrity and accuracy of the information held in our database. Investors

We don't have any and we don't need any. That is rather the point.

Dato Capital has been built and funded on its own success for nearly two decades. We take no outside investment and do not seek it: the company is privately held within the NETAMO SYSTEMS SL group and owned solely by the people who run it. Our independence is a deliberate choice, not a stage on the way to a funding round. It means we answer to no investor's timeline and to no agenda but the accuracy of our information. That's the one thing our clients pay us to protect.

How it works

Dato Capital is a large database that contains tens of millions of records of companies, company events, directors, shareholders, beneficial owners and other corporate information, updated and expanded in real time by automated processes and complemented by trusted local contacts in every jurisdiction we cover, who give us direct access to primary sources and registers. The results are reviewed by our technical and administrative team to ensure that the information is of the highest quality possible. From this database, we extract the information needed to generate each report for our customers.

History

Our parent entity was incorporated in Spain in 2001 under the name CONSEZUR SL, and adopted its current name NETAMO SYSTEMS SL in 2003. The domain datocapital.com was registered in 2006, and the Dato Capital website was launched in 2007.
